The group exhibition of five international artists was opened on the evening of the first of August at the Ermita de San Sebastián de Cervera del Maestre. The mayor Adolfo Sanmartin attended – together with the Fiesta Queens in traditional dress, as it was also the opening of the main yearly fiesta of the village.
With covid precautions in force the masked guests were greeted by masked artists, which added some quirkiness to the event. Temperatures were still touching 30 degrees, but chilled cava and wine helped keep the guests in good spirits to take in the varied collection of works on display.
The soft sounds of Getz and Gilberto echoed within the vast vault of the medieval Ermita de San Sebastian.
Well over 100 guests attended the opening and we have had some wonderful reviews.
